Note to all of you, whatever you do, never mess with an Apple iPad fan, particularly those who are queuing up or have been queuing up for ages to get their hands on the latest tablet device from Apple because things could get as messy as it did in China. Last week, a fight broke out between staff and customers at the Beijing Apple Store and the damage? Broken glasses, bloody faces and I hope the iPads are safe. Although the fight did not happen on the day iPad 2 was released in the country, it did happen the next day with a queue that is still overwhelmingly long – over 100 meters.
It was said that a foreign employee was actually the one who started the fire by beating a Chinese man with an iron rod in the heat of the incident. Thankfully no pictures have been released; I don’t think anyone would fancy seeing blood on this Monday morning. It was also reported that three other people were injured at that time but Apple has not stood up to comment about this incident yet. Seriously people, never mess with an iPad fan but in this case, an Apple employee.
